Molynmeux Burmese
We are Artey and Ally Williams and we live on the coast in Waterloo, North Liverpool, five minutes from the beach (or the shore as I am told it is
called by the locals) and the Antony Gormley 'Another Place' sculptures.
We have owned burmese since 1988. We breed primarily because we
love to go to Shows; its not a hobby you go into hoping to financially break even or
make any money - we do it for the love of the breed and the joy the cats
bring us. They are our pets first and foremost.
 |
Our first burmese were Champion (& later Grand Premier) Rossikhan Minnithe Minx
and the lovely lilac Bab. Both of these girls came to us from Janet
Wilshaw (Rossikhan) as retired and neutered breeding queens.
Janet and I became great friends in the following years and Artey and I embarked on a hobby of showing our Rossikhan burmese (we took Snippy from Champion to become Premier and then
Grand Premier at the Supreme 1996 on the eve of her 11th birthday.
Then somehow in early 1997,
I don't know if we asked if we could, or if Janet suggested we
might, but we began breeding from Rossikhan lines.

Our foundation queen was Rossikhan
Blue Movie. With some help from Ch Rossikhan Coconut Joe, darling Betty
gave us Gr Ch Molynmeux Merceuxriel Grey.
Mimi came from our second litter and she has given us some
beautiful kittens who have done her proud on the show bench. Mimi herself
has done very well with a number of BIS wins.
We lost Mimi in the summer of
2009 but her children remind us of her all the time. |

Our kittens are all born and
brought up in the house with all the usual chaos and noise around
them. Our kittens are fully socialised and are treasured members of
the family.
Outside we have Jacksson and Graham in their
heated love nests.
We have
a number of Bransby Bunny pens so we can offer a boarding service to
anyone who has had our kittens.
